Cartaya

Cartaya is at the coast of Huelva, and it is surrounded by pine forests, and in connection with his beautiful beaches supplements it for itself to an area left harmoniously nature.

With a size of about 225km², inclusive the known beach of El Rompido is Cartaya one residential and tourist city, surrounds near from a golf installation at the sea, and a nautical club.

To be reached easily, the city is over the highways, the capital Huelva is attainable in about 20 min. Also the nearest airport, as Sevilla and Faro, is good and fast attainable. Cartaya is a central and however remote resort with it.

The history of the city is in the origins of the Phoenicians. Very interesting constructions like the castle of Zúñiga (XV), that builds San Pedro's church (XIII until XVI), and Consistorial houses, find it of XVIII, with the typical Andalusia look, for itself here.
