So what about the property market?
The Costa de la Luz is the next growth area in Spain in terms of the property market. As the Costa del Sol market, the big boom story of the last decade, becomes inaccessible for entry level purchasers they look to other Costas in southern Spain and by far and away the Costa de la Luz stands out as the obvious good value alternative for properties
Despite having seen a healthy 15% annual growth in property prices over the last five years, property for sale on the Costa de la Luz are currently still a good 30 to 40% cheaper than the Costa del Sol.
